- Every quote is the amount you actually receive. Quotes on Minswap V2, Splash and MuesliSwap were corrected in 2.7.1 so orders fill at the expected output.

Cancel a pending swap yourself
A DEX order that has not filled yet is still yours. Open Swap history, pick the pending order and cancel it from the wallet, on any of the supported DEXs.
- Reclaims the deposit the order locked, back to your wallet.
- Needs a signature and a small network fee, shown before you confirm, like any other transaction.
- Works on every supported DEX, including SundaeSwap V3, and submits through Gero’s own node.
Fees and slippage
What a Cardano swap costs
Two fees, both shown before you confirm, and none of them from Gero.
- The Cardano network fee, typically around 0.17 ADA, paid to the chain like any transaction.
- The DEX fee, set by the venue and pool, usually between 0.3% and 0.5% of the trade, shown in the preview before you confirm.
- Nothing from Gero. GeroWallet adds no fee of its own on top of the route it picks.
- Slippage is yours to set. A tolerance such as 1% protects you from price moves between submitting and confirming; the preview shows it next to the rate.

How to Swap Tokens in GeroWallet

Open GeroWallet
Go to Swap from the dashboard header, from a token page, or from the Mini Gero side panel where Swap sits in the centre of the nav.

Select tokens and amount
Choose the token you sell and the token you buy, then enter the amount. The aggregator quotes every verified DEX and picks the best route.

Review and confirm
Check the rate, the network and DEX fees, the slippage tolerance and the route. Press Swap and sign in the wallet or on your hardware device.

Receive tokens
The order is submitted through Gero’s own node and your tokens arrive in the wallet, usually within seconds. Every swap is in your transaction history.

What is a Cardano DEX aggregator?
A Cardano DEX aggregator compares ADA and token prices across several decentralized exchanges and routes your trade through the one offering the best rate. Since 2.7.0 GeroWallet runs its own aggregator instead of routing through a third party, on every swap surface in the wallet.
Which DEXs does GeroWallet aggregate?
Six DEXs are verified on mainnet: Minswap V1 and V2, WingRiders V1 and V2, SundaeSwap V3 and Splash. SaturnSwap and MuesliSwap are available under See all routes and marked experimental. New venues are added as they are verified.
Which Cardano DEX has the best price?
It changes trade by trade, which is the point of aggregating. The quote lists what each verified DEX would return for your order and picks the best one. To watch prices across every DEX before you trade, the Market tab and the token pages show the same token on every venue where it has a pool.
Can I swap with a Ledger, Trezor or Keystone?
Yes. Swap works with every wallet type in GeroWallet, including password, passkey, Ledger, Trezor and Keystone, so you can trade straight from a hardware wallet without moving funds into a hot wallet first.
What fees do I pay when swapping?
Two: the Cardano network transaction fee, typically around 0.17 ADA, and the DEX trading fee set by the venue, usually between 0.3% and 0.5%. GeroWallet does not add a fee of its own. Both show in the preview before you confirm.
What is slippage and how do I set it?
Slippage is the difference between the quoted price and the price you actually get, because the pool can move between submitting and confirming. You set a tolerance, for example 1%, and the order fails rather than filling worse than that.
Can I swap ADA for any Cardano token?
Yes. You can swap ADA for any Cardano native token that has a pool on a supported DEX, and swap tokens for ADA or for each other the same way. That includes NIGHT, the Midnight token, which trades as a Cardano native token. A token with no liquidity, or one listed on no supported venue, will not appear as a route.
What if my Cardano swap fails?
Failures are rare and usually come from slippage, thin liquidity or network congestion. Your original ADA or tokens stay in your wallet. You may lose the network fee for the attempt. You can also cancel your own open orders on any DEX from the wallet.
Can I see my Cardano swap history?
Yes. Every swap is recorded in your transaction history with amounts, rate, fees, the DEX it filled on and the transaction hash.
