Your recovery phrase is the ONLY way to restore your wallet. If you lose it, there is no way to recover your assets. We strongly recommend writing it down and storing it in a safe place. GeroWallet cannot recover lost recovery phrases.

Pair the extension with the iOS app by scanning a QR code, confirm a short authentication string on both sides, and the pair is marked wallet-verified. From then on you can choose "Sign on another device" from the Send flow, with per-device signing policies and replay protection. It is rolling out gradually behind a feature flag.

Yes, since 2.7.2. Alerts cover received funds, filled or cancelled swaps and limit orders, and security events such as a new device linked to the wallet, and they arrive even when Gero is closed. Nothing is sent until you turn them on and confirm with your password or PassKey. They work in Chrome and other Chromium browsers for Cardano wallets secured with a password or PassKey; hardware wallets and wallets created with Google are not supported yet.
