GeroWallet iOS App: The Cardano Wallet for iPhone

The GeroWallet iOS app is real, it is in beta on TestFlight right now, and the public launch is close. It brings the full Cardano wallet experience to your iPhone: track your portfolio, stake ADA and vote on governance, swap at the best rates, and send tokens in seconds, with the same non-custodial architecture as the GeroWallet browser extension. Your keys stay yours, on every platform.

Beta seats are limited, so if you want in early, join the GeroWallet iOS beta on TestFlight now. Here is what the app does, how it protects your keys, and how to get started in a few minutes.

Everything the extension does, on the go

GeroWallet started as a desktop browser extension for Chrome, Brave, and Edge, and that remains the fastest way to use GeroWallet on desktop. The iOS app is not a stripped-down companion. It is the complete wallet, rebuilt for one hand.

A portfolio dashboard that respects your time

Open the app and you see what matters: your balance, your allocation across assets, and the day's market movers. No digging through menus to answer "how is my portfolio doing?"

Stake and vote without leaving your phone

Staking is where Cardano wallets earn their keep, and the iOS app treats it as a first-class feature. Browse stake pools ranked by returns, fees, size, or pledge, and delegate in a few taps. Your ADA never leaves your wallet and is never locked; you can learn how delegation works in our guide to earning ADA rewards with staking.

Cardano governance is built in too. Delegate your voting power to a DRep, abstain, or vote no confidence, straight from the app. If governance is new to you, our overview of Cardano governance explains what your vote controls.

Swap at the best rate, with no surprises

Trade ADA for any Cardano native token with price impact, network fee, slippage, and minimum received shown up front, before you confirm. What you see at confirmation time is what you agreed to, not a surprise on-chain.

Send ADA and tokens together

Bundle ADA and native tokens in a single send. The app attaches the minimum ADA automatically and shows the estimated fee before you confirm, so multi-asset transfers stop being a puzzle.

Your keys, your crypto, your phone

Mobile convenience means nothing if it costs you self-custody, so the iOS app makes the same promise as the extension.

  • Non-custodial by design: your seed phrase and private keys never leave your iPhone. GeroWallet cannot access, freeze, or move your funds.
  • Transparent by default: network fees, slippage, and minimums appear before every confirmation, and every transaction links to Cardanoscan so you can verify it independently.
  • Built by the team you already trust: the same non-custodial architecture that powers the GeroWallet browser extension, on every platform. Read more about our approach on the GeroWallet security page.

How to join the iOS beta

The beta runs on TestFlight, Apple's official app for testing pre-release software, and seats are limited.

Step 1: Install TestFlight. Get Apple's free TestFlight app from the App Store on your iPhone.

Step 2: Join the GeroWallet beta. Open the GeroWallet TestFlight invite on your iPhone and accept the invitation. If seats are full, keep an eye on the GeroWallet mobile page for the public launch.

Step 3: Create or restore your wallet. Generate a new wallet and write your recovery phrase on paper, stored offline, or restore an existing Cardano wallet with its seed phrase. Never type your seed phrase anywhere except your own wallet.

Step 4: Explore the wallet. Fund with a small test amount first, then try the portfolio view, delegate to a stake pool, and make a swap. Every action asks for your explicit confirmation before anything touches the chain.

What is coming next

The app launches with Cardano, and it will not stop there.

  • Midnight: support for the Midnight network is coming to the app, bringing zero-knowledge privacy on the go.
  • Bitcoin: BTC support is on the roadmap, so you can manage Bitcoin alongside your Cardano assets in the same non-custodial app.
  • Android: GeroWallet for Android is in development. iOS launches first, with Android following.
